Ingredients for Paneer Pasanda

Coock time:30 mins    Prep time:35 mins

  • 20 grams raisins
  • 20 grams cashew nut
  • 20 grams arrowroot
  • 20 grams maida
  • 500 grams refined oil
  • 01 pinch saffron
  • 02 teaspoon cream
  • Salt to taste

For Gravy
  • 100 grams onion
  • 200 gram tomatoes
  • 25 grams cashew nut
  • 25 grams magaz
  • 02 teaspoon ginger
  • 02 teaspoon  garlic
  • 02 grams red chili powder
  • 04 cardamom white cardamom
  • 04 grain cloves
  • 25 grams khoya (Mawa)

Preparations for Paneer Pasanda

Cut and grate the cheese as out of all the cheese.

Cashew, Magaj, Tomato, Onion, Ginger and Garlic are all cut and keep aside.

All purpose flour, arrowroot paste, onion, ginger garlic and tomato, magaj and cashew nut are all prepared and keep in advance.



Important Tips for Paneer Pasanda

You can make paneer gravy from cashew nuts, melon seeds, poppy seeds and coconut as per your preference.

we have cut the paneer into cubes but you can even cut them into rectangular or traingles strips.


When the oil is well heated, put the ingredients in it for frying, otherwise the material may burn.


Do not cook all the pastes properly, otherwise the test of gravy may be different and the recipe will not taste good.


You can also add paneer raw or light fry in it to the gravy.


if you want to enjoy the dish I would suggest make the gravy but instead of making paneer sandwiches just shallow fry paneer pieces and add into gravy.


Serve it with tandoori roti, naan, paratha, cumin rice and veg pulao.




Make Paneer Pasanda like this

Take 50 grams of cottage cheese out of 300 grams and cut the remaining 250 gms of thin pieces of cheese.

Now add cashew nuts,raisins,salt and saffron and prepare a thick paste by mixing maida flour, arrowroot,salt and water.

Now prepare onion, ginger and garlic paste. Now make a more thin paste by mixing tomatoes, magaz and cashews.

Heat 100 grams of oil in a pan, when the oil is hot,add cloves, cardamom and fry for a minute,then add onion paste in it and fry till the oil comes out in the mixture,after which tomato paste in it.

Add it and cook on a low flame for 4 to 8 minutes, after that add red chillies, salt and khoya, cook it a little longer, after that add the remaining mixture and add it to the gravy by adding a cup of water Take cook does oil come up.

Now cut the pieces of paneer in a pot and grind the gravy, cream and grated paneer on top. Your restaurant style paneer pasanda is ready.
