Ingredients For Paneer Kofta Recipe

Coock time:30 mins   Prep time:40 mins

  • 200 grams cottage cheese (paneer)
  • 02 piece bread
  • 01 teaspoon arrowrot
  • 30 grams of cashew and raisins
  • 250 grams refined oil
  • 100 grams of water

For Gravy 
  • 100 grams onion
  • 25 grams Cashew
  • 50 grams Tomatoes
  • 04 small cardamom
  • 02 bay leaves
  • 02 grams white chili powder
  • 100 grams of milk


Preparations for Paneer Kofta Recipe

Grate the paneer and keep aside a small portion of all the grated paneer.

Keep the bread crushed and cut the cashew nuts as well.


Chop onion and tomato.

Take some cashew nuts from the chopped cashews and mix it with raisins and keep it for filling.


Heat the oil in the pan before frying the ingredients.




Important Tips for Paneer Kofta Recipe

For delicious flavour adding few spices and fresh cilantro and mint leaves.

You can make gravy in cashew, coconut, melon seeds or onion, tomato paste in many ways.


In this recipe it is made from grated paneer.


If the koftas are cracked or are properly tied then add a little arrowroot in it.


Do not fry too much koftas at once, otherwise the koftas can get spoiled while frying.


Do not burn gas on high flame, always cook the ingredients in medium flame.


When the oil in the pan becomes well heated, fry the ingredients otherwise the spices may burn.


Cook the gravy well, otherwise there may be a difference in the test which will not taste good.


Do not make the koftas too big in size, it may be difficult to cook the big koftas internally.


Cook the koftas on a low flame, so that it does not burn.


Serve with tandoori roti, naan and pulao, it will taste delicious. 



Make paneer kofta like this

  1. Grate the paneer and keep it in a bowl.
  2. Now in add arrowrot, salt and bread powder and mix it well.
  3. Make medium sized paneer kofta with this mixture and add cashews, raisins in the center.
  4. Now heat the oil in a pan, when the oil is hot, fry each kofta till it turns golden.
  5. After that cut the onion and tomato and cook by adding enough water.
  6. After cooking, make a paste and make cashew paste along with it.
  7. Now heat oil in a saucepan add small cardamom, bay leaf and onion paste and cook on a low flame.
  8. When the oil comes up, add water, milk, cashew paste, salt and white chili powder and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  9. Once the gravy is cooked well, take it out in a bowl and put the koftas in it.
  10. Now put grated paneer over it and serve hot. your paneer kofta is ready.
